University of British Columbia Schmidt Science Fellowships

University of British Columbia Schmidt Science Fellowships 2020 is open for International Students. The scholarship allows Fellowship level program(s) in the field of All Subjects taught at University of British Columbia.

Degree Level:

University of British Columbia Schmidt Science Fellowships 2020 is available to undertake Fellowship level programs at the University of British Columbia.

Eligible Nationalities:

International students are eligible for this scholarship program.

Scholarship Benefits:

Fellows receive a stipend of $100,000 and are supported by the program to undertake a full-time, postdoctoral study for at least one year.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible, applicants must have to meet the following criteria:

  • Have conducted their graduate degree in the natural sciences (Astronomy, Biology – including Neurobiology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Sciences), Engineering, Mathematics, or Computing – and all sub-disciplines therein.
  • Have completed or expect to complete all of the requirements for the conferral of their PhD in one of these fields between 1 May 2019 and 30 June 2020. Note: to be nominated by UBC, candidates must have received (or will receive) their Ph.D. from UBC.

How to Apply

To be considered for the opportunity, candidates must take admission to the doctoral degree program at the University of British Columbia. After being registered, candidates will be considered for this education award.
