If you don’t meet these requirements, you may want to consider alternative qualifications or possibly, if you qualify, an extended programme (refer to the college admission requirements), enabling you to register for limited modules in your first year.

N1 – N3 Engineering Programmes
Admission Requirements
The minimum requirement for this programme is a:
- Grade 10 with Maths and Science
National N-Diploma: Public Management (N4 – N6)
Admission Requirements
The minimum requirement for this programme is a:
- Grade 12/NSC or N3 Certificate
- A minimum E symbol (Level 3) for English Second Language HG or a minimum D (Level 4) symbol for English Second Language SG is required
- Accounting at Grade 12 level is recommended
National Certificate (Vocational)
Admission Requirements
- A year end school report for grade 10 or higher with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
- An NQF Level 1 qualification; or
- An approved bridging programme designed for the specific purpose to access NQF level 2; or
- A Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the basic requirements for access to NQF Level 2.
